Shujaa Assistant coach Louis Kisia is optimistic about what his side will offer at the Dubai Sevens.
Kenya Sevens Assistant coach Louis Kisia has exuded confidence ahead of the Dubai Invitational Category scheduled for December 1-3 in Dubai.
Kisia explained that the players are well prepared for the event since their dominant triumph at the Safari Sevens and they will be looking to extend the winning streak to Dubai.
He explained that they resumed training on Monday and Tuesday as they prepare to leave the country for the assignment.

“I think the preparations have been going on well. We gave the boys some space after the Safari Sevens and resumed training this week.
We did our sessions on Monday and Tuesday…today we rest then we travel tomorrow. The boys and the mood in the camp are upbeat. The boys are ready and they know what is expected of them.
We have set targets for ourselves and for us to achieve those targets, we all have to work hard and ensure we execute our roles anytime we take to the field,” he said.

RUGBY George ‘Japolo’ Ooro returns as Shujaa name squad for Dubai Invitational tournament
Wambua has opted to recall George ‘Japolo’ Ooro, who returns to the Shujaa squad, with Herman Humwa and Brian Mutugi retaining their spots from the Safari 7s.
Meanwhile, Shujaa are in Pool C in the Men’s International Invitation Category alongside Speranza 22, R10C Selects, and Wailers.
They will start their pool stage campaign against R1OC Selects at 2:40 pm EAT on Friday. They will then lock horns with Wailers at 2:20 pm on Saturday before concluding their pool stage in a game against Speranza 22 at 5:00 pm on the same day.
On their part, the Lionesses are in Pool B which also has Ireland Invitational, USA Falcons, Rhino Stompers, and French Militaire Sevens.

Shujaa have dominated at both the Olympic Qualifying tourney and the Safari Sevens tournament under the tutelage of Kevin ‘Bling’ Wambua.
They will open their campaign on Friday at 5:40pm against Ireland Invitational then play the Rhino Stompers at 7:20 pm on the same day. They will then play French Militaire Sevens at 3:20 pm on Saturday.The pool stage wraps up with a game against the USA Falcons at 7:00 pm on the same day.
