The event is scheduled for June 22 to 25 in Naivasha, Nakuru County.
He added that the government seeks to take sports seriously and they would need the support of the sponsors in order to realise their dream.
“I would like to plead with the private sector to come together and empower our sports sector. We would like them to help us support and take sports to the next level. On our part, we want to ensure we establish the facilities for our athletes
We want to go around and build infrastructure for our people, we want them to have efficient facilities so they can train well. That’s where we want our resources to go…that’s our priority at the moment,” he said.
Recently, Mueke has been seen scouting around the country and he has been able to confirm that some stadia including Wanguru Stadium, Kirigiti Stadium, and Kinoru Stadium are going to be upgraded.

“We are in the process of coming up with a framework that will see to it that the private sector can benefit from tax rebates,” he said.
Meanwhile, Mueke also added emphasis that the government intends to ensure every sportsperson in the country is able to earn from their talent.
