The ladies return to the competition after the first edition in 2019 where they had a disappointing outing and did not manage a podium finish. They will be keen to make an impact when they take on strong opponents for the event scheduled for June 24 to 30.
Their quest for victory will not be a walk in the park since they will be up against defending champions Tunisia who will have home advantage and will be hoping for a second win. Tunisia has been known to have strong players who will not give the Kenyan ladies an easy time.
Tunisia floored strong teams in 2019 to take top honours during the event which was staged in Sal, Cape Verde. The 2019 hosts finished second at the time and will not be competing at this year's event.
Algeria finished third during the 2019 event and they will be hoping to improve on their performance. On their part, Uganda will be making its first appearance at the event, hoping to display remarkable results.
