The first batch of the team arrived in China on Wednesday.
Team Nigeria is in high spirit as arrived Chengdu, China for FISU World University Games.
Pulse Sports had earlier reported that the World University Games will run from July 28 to August 8 in Chengdu, China.
The first batch of athletes representing Nigeria left Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Tuesday and landed at the Tianfu International Airport in Chengdu on Wednesday.
Nigeria is expected to compete for honours in seven games, including Track and Field, Swimming, Badminton, Judo, Taekwondo, Table Tennis, and Tennis.
Team Nigeri a will be represented by student-athletes who were selected from 22 universities to represent the country in seven different sports disciplines.

Athletes ready to Make Nigeria Proud
After their arrival, Athletes told Pulse Sports in China that they were in Chengdu to make the country proud.
A Table Tennis Player, Obasuyi Prosper said he is looking forward to win medals for the country and learn from the exposure.
According to the student of University of Benin, "I am excited to be in Chengdu, it is a whole new environment and looking forward to seeing other well known countries to participate. i will make the country proud by winning medals for the country."
On her part,a 400-level student of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, Niger State, Blessing Danjuma added, "I am expecting an experience different from the ones I have, meeting and playing with different players."
