The Atlanta Hawks progressed to the second edition's final four in Las Vegas on Tuesday after defeating the New York Knicks in a thrilling comeback.
Young ignited the Hawks' offense in the second half after the Knicks dominated the first in New York.
After the half, Young spearheaded a balanced Hawks attack that was led by reserve De'Andre Hunter's 24 points, scoring 12 points and dishing out nine assists.
With 3:01 left, Young hit Hunter for an alley-oop dunk that increased the Hawks' lead to 14 points.
As the Hawks ended the game, Clint Capella scored a second after an assist from Young and another after Dyson Daniels' alley-oop.
Josh Hart scored 21 points to lead the Knicks. Before fouling out in the closing seconds, Karl-Anthony Towns contributed 19 points and 19 rebounds.
When Atlanta picked up the tempo in the second half, New York was unable to react, and Mikal Bridges added another 19 points.
