Naomi Osaka was present at the 2023 US Open tournament weeks after giving birth to baby girl.
Two-time US Open champion Naomi Osaka made a surprise appearance at the Flushing Meadows tournament looking radiant post-pregnancy.
The former world No.1 women's tennis player, who won the US Open titles in 2018 and 2020, took a break from active competition back in January after announcing via Instagram that she is expecting a baby and will be out of active tennis for the rest of the 2023 season.
Osaka then officially became a mom on July 11th, welcoming a baby girl with rapper boyfriend Cordae in Los Angeles.
Two days later, the four-time Grand Slam singles champion posted a series of photos to her Instagram that documented her journey into motherhood, including the first photo of her newborn daughter.
"Well that was a cool little intermission," Osaka cheekily captioned the photos. "Now back to your regularly scheduled program 🎾✌🏾💕."
Osaka got back to training just fifteen days after giving birth and is expected to return to active tennis action during the 2024 season.
