Impala have their eyes fixed on lifting the trophy after missing it last season as they lost 6-15 to Mwamba.
The women’s Kenya Cup is all set for Saturday, March 4 with defending champions Mwamba up against Western Spears at the Impala Club Grounds.
Mwamba sit second on the table with 24 points and have won four matches out of the five played. They lost to last season’s first runners up Impala Roans 17-28 in their clash on January 18.
Western Spears, in their maiden appearance at the Kenya Cup have proved to be an impressive side after winning three of their six matches.
Through their remarkable performance, they have booked a set with the champions. They are placed fourth on the table with 14 points.
Meanwhile, Impala Roans will take on Nothern Suburbs. Impala will have an added advantage playing at home.
They have won all of their five matches and sit comfortably on top of the table with 25 points, one clear Mwamba. They have proved to be in good shape. Impala have their eyes fixed on lifting the trophy after missing it last season as they lost 6-15 to Mwamba.
Northern Surbubs on their part are placed third on the table with 15 points. They are also a team to watch as they have won three of their five matches played.
