The qualifiers start this weekend in Mauritius.

Ahead of the final preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympics qualifying campaign in the United Kingdom, Nigeria's men rugby national team, Black Stallions, opened camp in the United Kingdom.

Azeez Ladipo, the general manager of the Black Stallions, and two national players led a delegation from the Nigeria Rugby Football Federation (NRFF) that departed for England in order to join their international counterparts in getting ready for the qualifiers.

Nigeria will compete against Ghana, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Black Stallions will advance to the next round of the tournament, the Africa Cup Sevens, which will be held in Zimbabwe, if they place in the top three.

Before facing Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo in their last Group A encounter of the qualifications, Nigeria will begin its campaign against Ghana.

Under the direction of Coach Temitope Okenla, the Black Stallions started their preparation for the Olympics qualifiers in early May. Steve Lewis, the newly appointed coach of the Black Stallions, will lead the Nigerian squad to Mauritius.
