The tournament had over 1000 teams competing over five days.
The International Association of Preparatory Schools (AIPS) Kenya U-13 finished third in Pool E of the Rosslyn Park National Schools Sevens tournament despite a 20-0 loss at the hands of Lord Wandsworth College on Thursday.
IAPS started well in the tournament beating Brighton College 20-15, but they fell 30-5 to eventual group winners Sedbergh Prep School before walloping Beaudesert Park School and Mill Hill Belmont Schools 15- l0 a 20-5, respectively.
Sedbergh finished at the top of the pool with 13 points from five matches, while Lord Wandsworth College came home second with 10 points from the same number of games.
IAPS garnered nine points to finish third, while Brighton College, Beaudesert Park School, and Mill Hill Belmont Schools occupied the bottom three positions, respectively.

RUGBY IAPS Kenya U-13 squad leaves for Rosslyn Park National Schools Sevens
AIPS Kenya U-13 Sevens team will be making 10th appearance in the global tournament.
It was IAPS's tenth appearance at the Rosslyn Park National Schools Sevens as they made their maiden appearance in the 2012/2013 tournament, where they finished second in Pool B of the U-13 category.
In this year's tournament, IAPS was captained by Teshen Waire. Other notable names in the squads were Sotei Lopokoyit, son of former Mean Machine and Kenya center Andrew Lopokoiyit, and Ogwe Ng'ong'a, whose father, Edwin, featured for Lenana School, Mean Machine, Kenya, and English club side Blackheath RFC.
The youngsters are under the tutelage of coach Jim Ross with internationally capped scrum-half Michael Wanjala also forming part of the technical bench.
The global tournament, which has a history of producing professional rugby players, saw over 1000 teams taking part across five different age groups with Boys, Girls, and Mixed events all taking place.
