Kenya Sevens are now just two games away from qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympics
John Okoth's brace against Burkina Faso was instrumental as Shujaa progressed to the semi-finals of the ongoing Africa Men’s Sevens tournament held in Harare, Zimbabwe, with a comfortable 26-0 win over the Burkinabe on Sunday morning.
Kenya looked comfortable throughout inspired by the form of John Okoth, who scored numerous tries while also being spot on with his conversions to send Shujaa into the semi-finals set to take place later today.

Should Shujaa win the tournament, they will automatically qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Shujaa opened the scoring with an unconverted try through Patrick Odongo four minutes into the first half, before adding a second through John ‘the bus’ Okoth after Burkina Faso had briefly been reduced to 10 men.
Right after the break, Okoth would add his second try which was converted successfully just before the break to put the Kenyans 19 points to the good.
