Kabras Sugar and KCB have been seeded top for the penultimate leg of the National Sevens Circuit, the Tisap Sevens set to take place in Eldoret from September 2-3.
With Kabras Sugar leading arch-rivals KCB by just two points in the standings, it promises to be a thrilling weekend of sevens rugby as the quest to be crowned Kenyan club sevens champions in 2023 goes a notch higher.

RUGBY KCB close in on Kabras Sugar after Christie win as fight for Sevens Circuit title tightens
The Bankers have reduced Kabras’ lead to just two points with as many rounds remaining in the National Sevens Circuit.
Circuit leaders Kabras Sugar have Kenya Harlequin, Daystar Falcons, and Kisumu RFC to deal with in Pool C while Nakuru leads the charge in Pool D which also features Mwamba, Nondescripts, and the University of Eldoret Trojans who will be playing in the top tier in their home town.
Kabras Sugar’s lead at the top of the National Sevens Circuit standings was reduced to just two points following their third-place finish at the Christie Sevens in Nairobi.
KCB claimed the Christie Sevens title following a 17-12 win over Strathmore Leos in the Cup final to cut the Sugar Millers’ advantage with the leaders now on 80 points while the bankers have 78.
Victory saw KCB return to the winners’ podium for the second time after their cup triumph in the season-opening Dala Sevens before following it up with back-to-back third-place finishes at Driftwood and Prinsloo Sevens.
