Kabras Sugar’s rampant second-half display was enough to give them a 50-19 win against Kenya Harlequin at the RFUEA Grounds on a balmy Saturday afternoon to maintain their perfect start to the regular 2023/2024 Kenya Cup campaign.
Kenya Harlequin drew first blood through a well-executed penalty by Cornelius Mokoro after Kabras had committed an infringement, but Eugene Sifuna soon scored a well-converted try to put them 7-3 up.
This did not deter Harlequin from becoming only the second side this season to manage to score a try against Kabras when Adam Mugo landed the ball inside the try box which was converted by Mukoro to put them 10-7 up.
