Menengai Oilers will visit KCB this Saturday itching to beat them and make the Kenya Cup final.
Menengai Oilers head coach Gibson Weru has revealed the three fundamental aspects his side will have to be better at if they are to fry KCB and make the final of the ongoing Kenya Cup season.
Oilers are preparing for a tough clash against the Bankers at the KCB sports Club this Saturday, but know that they are just two games away from potentially placing their hands on the title.
They were not able to get one over Curtis Olago’s charges the last time they met in the semis, but they can be hoping to make amends this time round in efforts to make history.

RUGBY Rugby Super Series finally makes return after decade-long absence
The Rugby Super Series is set to take place in May after a decade-long absence, with the ultimate aim being to help strengthen the Kenya Simbas ahead of the 2027 Rugby World Cup.
Weru, a former Shujaa player, has now revealed his side will have to be dominant in four phases of the game in order to walk into the finals.
“It comes down to who dominates the set-piece, the line out and the scrum, two fundamental aspects of the game,” Weru said.
“We also have to be on point defensively.”
Oilers beat KCB 21-7 earlier this month, but know repeating that feat will not be easy.

RUGBY ‘House of pain’ returning? Shujaa set to welcome back experienced strength & conditioning expert
Kenya Sevens are set for a major boost as former strength and conditioning expert will join the team this month ahead of a crucial period as they seek top flight return and Olympics medal.
KCB reached the semis after finishing second in the league phase booking a direct home semi-final. Oilers had to go through the playoff where they defeated Blak Blad in Nakuru to qualify.
"The victory marked the end of the Bankers' unbeaten streak spanning eight matches in the league," acknowledged Weru. "It was a significant triumph for us. Everything clicked on that day, but that's all in the past now. Saturday presents a formidable challenge for us."
"This will mark the third consecutive year these two sides have met in the semifinals," Weru continued. "In 2022, Nakuru emerged victorious with a 24-17 win at the Lions' Den, but the bankers retaliated last year with a commanding 38-20 victory at the same venue."
