Speaking after the match, Murunga admitted his players experienced stagefright in the first half which ultimately counted against them.

RUGBY Kenya Cup: KCB brush aside Kenya Harlequin with dominant first half display
KCB scored five tries in the first half to cap off a dominant display against Kenya Harlequin to keep their hopes of finishing top of the Kenya Cup table alive.
“It was kick off try, kick off try, so by the time we were catching up with the game, it was too late. Our starting lineup did not match the game’s tempo, we did not play according to structure and could not come back into the game.”
Murunga revealed that his side has to learn to strike a balance in the remaining two games of the season if they are to stand a chance of finishing at least third in the league this season.
