Simbas conceded a last-minute, well-converted try in the dying minutes of their Mzansi Challenge Cup against the Namibians.
The men's national 15s side, Kenya Simbas put up a spirited second-half performance but came unstuck against Namibian side Welwitschias, as they lost 35-28 in a Currie Cup First Division match staged in Windhoek, Namibia.
Welwitschias drew first blood when they switched the ball wide to land a try in the corner, and perfectly executed the resulting conversion. They would make it 14-0 just moments later, having repeated the same move.

The local heavyweights, however, did not clarify which of the outstanding issues have been resolved with the federation.
The Namibians would then land their third converted try, and it got Simbas a real mountain to climb.
The deficit would be reduced by Brian Ndirangu, who landed Kenya’s first try of the match before Ntabeni Dukisa converted it well as they trailed 21-7 heading to the half time break.
