Kabras have now made it two leg wins in a row, having won the Driftwood Sevens series in Mombasa three weeks ago.
Kabras Sugar RFC are the 2023 Prinsloo Sevens winners after edging Kenya Harlequin 10-5 in a tightly contested encounter played at the Nakuru Athletic Club on Sunday afternoon.
It is now the second time in three cup finals that they have emerged victorious, after losing the opening leg in Kisumu to KCB, before making amends with a win against Menengai Oilers at the Driftwood sevens in Mombasa.

Kubu then sliced through the Quins defense, touching down as Kabras went 10-0 up and had to survive sustained pressure from their opponents.
Lucky Dewald, on as a replacement for the injured Mokoro, attacked from the breakdown, scoring for Quins who went in pursuit of the match winner, all in vain as Kabras made it two wins from three cup final appearances this season.

In the third-place playoff match, KCB completed the podium with a win over outgoing champions Menengai Oilers.
