Olago was far from pleased with his side's defeat to Menengai Oilers the last time they met and is itching to get one over the Nakuru-based side to make the Kenya Cup final.
KCB RFC head coach Curtis Olago believes his charges have no margin for error if they are to make the second Kenya Cup final in a row when they face Menengai Oilers on Saturday 23 March.
Oilers ended KCB's unbeaten run in the league, securing a 21-7 victory at Nakuru ASK Showground earlier this month, but the Bankers have a glorious chance to make amends at their Ruaraka-based KCB Sports Club.
“We understand the caliber of our rivals, hence we aim to execute (our plan) with precision in every aspect of the game,” Olago said.

Reflecting on their previous encounter against Oilers, Olago remarked, "Our ball-handling skills were lacking that day, and they capitalized on it to secure the win. It's an area we've been diligently working on improving ahead of the crucial match."
Recalling their defeat in 2022, when Geoffrey Ominde's eight penalties propelled Menengai Oilers to a 24-17 victory over KCB, Olago expressed determination for redemption. "The time is ripe for us to seek sweet revenge."
Acknowledging the team's progress, Olago commented, "Transition takes time, and I've been impressed with the team's improvement. Since the process began, I'm confident we're heading in the right direction as a team," affirmed the veteran tactician.
