Kobs had to forfeit two games at the Nile Special Mileke Border Sevens over the weekend because of varying reasons.
Under very unusual circumstances, Kobs RFC lost two matches at the Nile Special National Rugby Sevens, the Mileke Border &s edition in the boardroom.
Kobs won the first game against eventual winners Walukuba Barbarians 33-7, but the result was overturned after the latter appealed for the use of an ineligible player.
Kobs had used Kiira Crocs player Eugene Ikaaba against the rules of the tournament and ended up losing 20-0.

Stanbic Black Pirates will need at least a semifinal appearance at the Kyabazinga 7s to emerge champions of the 2023 Nile Special National Rugby Sevens.
The team did not play any of their remaining classification matches after reporting that their players were injured and, therefore, couldn’t make a team.
Their fifth-place playoff classification match against Hippos was awarded to the latter.
“Kobs were unable to raise players at the time of the 5th place-play off semi-final against Hippos Rugby due to many injuries in their team. A walkover was awarded,” the Union said.
