Nigeria's Flamingos are set to depart for South Africa for a FIFA U-17 World Cup qualifier.

The Flamingos, the U17 girls of Nigeria, will depart the country on Wednesday to play the Bantwana, the U17 girls of South Africa, in the opening leg of their two-leg FIFA U17 Women's World Cup qualification match.

On Saturday, March 8, at 3 p.m. South African time (2 p.m. Nigerian time), the game—for which the Confederation of African Football has chosen Kenyan officials to serve as sponsors—will begin at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria, the administrative capital of South Africa.

Goalie Christiana Uzoma, defenders Hannah Ibrahim and Jumai Adebayo, midfielders Shakirat Moshood and Muinat Rotimi, and strikers Harmony Chidi and Chisom Nwachukwu are among the 19 players chosen by head coach Bankole Olowookere.
