Singer Moses Ssali, aka Bebe Cool, is leaving no stone as the 2023/24 Uganda Premier League season gets underway.
The singer Zzina has taken to social media to rally fans to back Express FC in their first home game of the season against Mbarara City on September 23, 2023.
About a week away, Bebe Cool is wasting no time in leading the 'Mukwano Gwa'bangi' brigade as his son, Alpha Ssali, will be expected to make his Uganda Premier League debut at the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku, in Kampala.
"Let’s all go support Express FC come the 23rd of September," Bebe Cool shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Besides home advantage and singer Bebe Cool's newly found fanbase, Express FC will host the wounded Ankole Lions, who lost their season opener before the Kakyeeka Stadium crowd.
Debutant NEC FC's South Sudanese international right-back Joseph Stephen Dhata scored the all-important goal six minutes into the second half, bundling home a poorly defended set piece by the hosts.
Ssali signed with Express FC in the summer transfer window and has been in brilliant form in the pre-season encounters. He has netted two times for Express and will look forward to getting his first league goal.
Last campaign, Express FC finished 10th on the 15-team log, having collected 34 points in 28 matches.
