After keeping fans waiting for weeks, Premier League powerhouse Chelsea has unveiled their new home uniform for the 2023–24 season.
The new matchday jerseys have also been displayed , following last week's introduction of their new training gear line, which is sponsored by Trivago.
Chelsea has adopted a simple style that has white underarms and a white sleeve outline in place of the colorful backdrop designs and textures of previous seasons.

There is a white line inside the collar as well, keeping with the 1998 shirt, one of the most recognizable in recent memory.
A new Chelsea home kit is a tribute to the 1997–98 team, which finished fourth in the Premier League and won the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and League Cup,
The statement on the Chelsea website about the new kit said, "The home Nike kit for the 2023/24 season is unveiled today and featuring a classic design with white added to the blue, the glory of ‘97/’98 is celebrated in style."
Super Eagles legend Celestine Babayaro was a key figure for that Chelsea side.

Chelsea first team players such as Raheem Sterling, Enzo Fernandez, Ben Chilwell and Reece James modeled the Babayaro inspired Chelsea jersey.
No Sponsor on new Chelsea kit
The absence of a prominent sponsor, even on the new home uniform, is the most striking aspect.
On June 30, Chelsea's three-year contract with Three, a major provider of mobile phones, came to an end, and since then, no replacement partner has been officially announced.

A final big sponsor is still lacking despite separate agreements with Oman Air and Hilton as official airline and hotel partners.
Although Serie A powerhouse Roma are in a similar situation, they are the only top level team in England to have done so this season.
Chelsea will now be able to showcase their new look to American fans as part of their preseason tour.
