Emenike advises Igbo people in Lagos
The former Nigerian player ignited social media with a scathing criticism of the Lagos State government.
He claims that despite the state's Igbo people having the government's approval when they built the foundation for these multimillion dollar aspirations, they have demolished their properties.
Emenike is making a scene over the administration of Lagos State's bulldozer blitz, which has left several Igbo citizens in the state completely stranded.
The Lagos State government started demolishing unauthorized buildings on canals and waterways along the Gedegede-Mobil route, Megamound Estate, and Ikota drainage systems last week.
The demolition effort was necessary, according to the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, in order to stop the environment's ongoing erosion and floods.
During the demolition activity controlled by the Operatives Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, multimillion naira worth of properties were demolished.
