The team has made two Final-Match appearances, one semi-final visit, and many quarter-final trips in the 22-year contest.
He said, “We have the mandate and support of the Government and people of Nigeria to come here and give it our best fight-and-push.
"Our Sports Minister reminded us of the fact that Nigeria finished second in 2010 and 2014, and reached the semi finals in 2012.

"He charged us to come back with the trophy this time, and that is our objective.”
Falconets games at 2024 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup
The final stretch of the Falconets' preparation for the 23-day championship will feature challenging matches against Mexico and Australia.
On Friday, August 23, they take on the Australians, and three days later, they face the Mexicans.
Only this year was the competition expanded to a 24-nation finale, meaning that almost half of the finalists are first-timers.
