Georgina Rodriguez has won her legal battle against Mediaset, weeks after reportedly suffering a setback in the case.

Weeks after reportedlly facing a setback in her legal dispute with Mediaset, Georgina Rodriguez finds herself on the winning side of justice.

Despite her public persona as a public figure and one of the biggest Spanish influencers in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend has staunchly defended her right to privacy, particularly regarding aspects of her past and certain anonymous individuals, such as her father.

This week, Spanish outlet, Marca reports that the Court of First Instance No. 3 of Pozuelo de Alarcon has delivered a verdict in favor of Georgina Rodriguez and her sister Ivana Rodriguez.

The court has ordered several television programs to compensate the influencer with $75,000 (€70,000) for intruding into her privacy and exploiting her image.

Additionally, the report from the aforementioned outlet reveals Mediaset must pay $54,000 (€50,000) to Gio and her sister, Ivana,  for violating their father's privacy and self-image.

The presiding judge acknowledges that while Rodriguez has garnered immense popularity, it is a recent development largely influenced by her relationship with Portugal and Al-Nassr skipper Cristiano Ronaldo.

The judge asserts that Rodriguez's past, before her rise to current prominence, should be off-limits to media intrusion.

The judgment further emphasizes Rodriguez's efforts to shield her personal history from public scrutiny.

Even in her Netflix documentary, 'I am Georgina,' which aired in 2022, there was a deliberate absence of references to her upbringing or family life.

This intentional omission, as noted by the judge, underscores Rodriguez's commitment to preserving her privacy and that of her loved ones.
