See what Israel Adesanya has to say after Donald Trump won the 2024 U.S election.
Following his defeat by Joe Biden in the 2020 election, Trump departed the White House four years ago.
However, he defeated Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, pulling off one of the biggest comebacks in US political history.
Hours after the results were verified, Trump announced his victory to a gathering of his supporters in Palm Beach, Florida.
When Mexico, Canada, and the United States co-host the 2026 World Cup, Trump will be in office.
During his first tenure as president, the 78-year-old was instrumental in the United States' campaign to host the 2026 World Cup.
Infantino and Trump
He and Infantino are close, and Infantino paid Trump three White House visits.
The FIFA chief also did not take long to congratulate Trump on winning reelection to the US presidency.
Infantino said, “Congratulations, Mr. President!"
"We will have a great FIFA World Cup and a great FIFA Club World Cup in the United States of America! Soccer unites the world."
This comes after Nigerian mixed martial artist Israel Adesanya celebrated the return of Trump to the white house.
