Former Arsenal and Germany goalkeeper Jens Lehmann is facing a tumultuous period in his personal life.

The news comes amid his significant legal troubles, including a recent fine for fraud and damage to property, as well as a controversial arrest for drink driving during Oktoberfest celebrations.

According to Daily Mail, a German court imposed a fine of £112,500 on the 54-year-old this Friday, after he was found guilty of property damage and attempted fraud.
This ruling marked a troubling chapter for the ex-footballer, whose initial sentence included a suspended prison term and a much larger financial penalty of over £350,000.
Another report from German outlet BILD indicates that Lehmann’s ex-wife Conny, 52, who has stood by him throughout his career and raised their two children—Mats, 24, and Lieselotta, 18—has moved on after discovering that her husband was allegedly engaging in reckless behaviour at Oktoberfest.

As per the aforementioned outlet, Lehmann was reportedly seen partying with younger women before his arrest for drink driving.
The couple, who began their relationship in 1995 and married in 1999, have now ended their marriage amid these mounting pressures.
Conny, who runs a yoga school and previously had a relationship with former Borussia Dortmund midfielder Knut Reinhardt, had been a source of support for Jens throughout his career.
However, Lehmann’s recent actions as well as his legal troubles has seen her pull the plug on their marriage.
