While Arsenal fans were celebrating the arrival of Jorginho, John Terry brands them missing for 20 years.
Arsenal are top of the Premier League at the halfway stage of the 2023/23 football season.
The Gunners possess a five-point advantage over reigning Champions Manchester City in second place.
Mikel Arteta's side are now favorites for the title and added Italian midfielder Jorginho as reinforcement on deadline day during the winter transfer window.
The addition of Jorginho to the team in an area of importance has strengthened the belief of Arsenal fans to win the title.
John Terry tackles Arsenal fans
Ahead of the resumption of Premier League football this weekend, the Gunners have been slammed by Chelsea legend John Terry.
Terry was involved in a social media bust-up with Arsenal supporter and media personality Piers Morgan.
Morgan blasted Chelsea's activities in the transfer window while also highlighting that they are nine spots below Arsenal on the table.
The message by Morgan said, "Reminder to Chelsea fans: we’re top of the League, you’re 10th, and we’re 21pts ahead of you with a game in hand.
“So spend all the gazillions you want but what you REALLY need to buy is a telescope🔭 to look up at Arsenal."
Terry through his official Twitter account responded to the message by Morgan by reminding Arsenal fans that they have not won the Premier League since 2004.
He said, "@piersmorgan you have gone missing for 20 years! And you still have a long way to go…👀
"I have won more trophies since I retired playing golf than Arsenal have."
Morgan had the final word reminding Terry that Arsenal is still the only team to go through a Premier League season unbeaten.
He concluded, "Pipe down ‘Tiger’ Terry… it was only 18 years ago that Arsenal went unbeaten in a whole League season (incl stuffing Chelsea, led by you, home & away…).
"So the only thing that’s ‘missing’ is the word Invincible’ on your CV…"
Arsenal returns to action against a struggling Everton with a new manager this weekend.
