Chelsea fans rejoice as legend John Terry returns as coach to team up with Mauricio Pochettino.

John Terry, a former captain of Chelsea, has revealed that he is coming back to the team to help at the academy.

With five Premier League titles, five FA Cups, three League Cups, the Champions League, and the Europa League to his name, Terry is a true Chelsea icon. 

With 717 appearances overall for the Blues, he is third on the list all-time.

After quitting playing in 2018, the 42-year-old spent three seasons as Dean Smith's assistant at Aston Villa. 

His return to Cobham, where he will work with the team's young players, has delighted Chelsea fans.

In January 2022, he returned to Chelsea in a consulting capacity before departing in April to rejoin Smith's team at Leicester.

However, Terry was let go after the Foxes were demoted and Smith was replaced by Enzo Maresca demoted,

Along with photos on his social media platforms, Terry announced his return to Chelsea.

The photos came with a message that said, “I’m delighted to be back Home working in the academy and continuing my role at the club.”

Terry, who splashed heavily to celebrate his twins birthdays, will now aim to help the Chelsea academy this season.
