Former Super Eagles of Nigeria coach Jose Peseiro celebrated his birthday on Thursday, April 4.
The Portuguese received a heartwarming message from his wife, Fatima, as he turned 64 this week.
Taking to her Instagram page, the wife of the former Sporting and Porto coach wrote: “ Today another year joins the past, it's been a few... may life continue to give us happy moments Many happy returns of the day.”

Jose Peseiro’s career with the Super Eagles
Having assumed the role of Nigeria’s headcoach in May 2022, Peseiro finished runner-up in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, losing 2–1 to hosts Ivory Coast.
Following the heartbreaking defeat in Abidjan, he was awarded the Order of the Niger by president Bola Tinubudays later.
Pulse Sports reported that Peseiro left his position as head coach of the Super Eagles early last month, after failing to reach an agreement with the Nigeria Football Federation on a new deal.
Peseiro has reportedly wasted no time in attracting interest from Zamalek SC and the Algeria national team, with both sides understood to be keen on securing his services.
