Pulse Lions, a newly formed Lagos Liga club is roaring and ready to challenge for honours in the competition.
Groundbreaking football revolution Lagos Liga, which has continued to generate interest among young Nigerians, has welcomed a new club Pulse Lions.
Pulse Lions is owned by Pulse Sports, headed by Kess Ewubare, Director of Pulse Sports Africa who is a lover of the game of football and has set sights on motivating his troops to trade tackles in this epic league.
Although Pulse Lions has been successfully accepted into Lagos Liga, the team is only one of the reserve clubs and will only participate if one of the already registered teams pulls out.
Should that be the case, then Pulse Lions will compete in the league against the likes of 30BG Sports Club, owned by Davido, Don Jazzy's Supremos FC, and D'banj's Koko FC.
Introducing Lagos Liga
The Lagos Liga is one of Africa's largest private leagues, where non-professional and former footballers compete in a 7-aside match.
The league offers handsome cash rewards for winners and fans can also participate in the skills challenge to win amazing prizes.
The organisers of the league have announced that the winner of the tournament will go home with N50 million naira including other individual awards.
The league has gained attention due to the involvement of prominent celebrities like Davido, D'banj, and Don Jazzy. These celebrities have formed their football clubs, adding a glamorous dimension to the league.
18 football clubs have registered. They include 30BG Sports Club, Applebee Sports Club, Dominant Force, Fiercecracker, Golden Alchemy Sports clubGular FC, Jarus FC, Knights FC, Koko FC, Kypton FC, Primal Sporting, Mavbrooks Sports Club, Pulse Lions, Spiritual Movements FC, Sporting Lagos Fans Club, Superstar FC, Supremos, and Tacha FC.
The competition will kick-off in December at the Campos mini stadium in Lagos.
