The rumoured romance between the F1 icon and the Hollywood actress is reportedly over lack of reciprocation.

It seems the brief spark between Lewis Hamilton and Sofia Vergara has already burned out, with reports suggesting their rumoured romance has come to an abrupt end.

The Formula One icon, 40, and the Modern Family actress, 52, first sparked dating rumours when they were spotted enjoying a cosy lunch in New York back in January.

According to RadarOnline, Vergara was eager to pursue something serious, reportedly seeing Hamilton as "the perfect boyfriend and a great catch."

However, it appears Hamilton’s interest has fizzled out, leaving Vergara feeling "abandoned."

Their public outing had fans speculating, especially after TMZ reported that Vergara barely touched her food during their two-hour conversation, seemingly engrossed in Hamilton’s every word.

Outside the restaurant, the pair were seen laughing and chatting before she left in an SUV.

Hamilton, who previously had a long-term on-off relationship with Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger, has been linked to several high-profile women, including Rihanna, Gigi Hadid, Shakira, and most recently Raye.

But for now, it seems the seven-time world champion is firmly back in bachelor mode.

His focus has seemingly shifted back to the track, but his Ferrari debut has been far from smooth.

Hamilton endured a nightmare start to his campaign in Red, finishing 10th in Australia before bouncing back to win the sprint race in China.

However, his sixth-place finish in Sunday’s Grand Prix in Shanghai, was later nullified, as he was disqualified for excessive plank wear, landing a brutal blow to his early-season ambitions.

The seven-time world champion now sits ninth in the drivers’ standings, a staggering 35 points behind championship leader Lando Norris.
