Chelsea signs Mathis Eboué son of former Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue.

According to transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea has finalized the acquisition of Watford's Mathis Eboué.

Romano claims that Mathis, who is the son of former Arsenal player Emmanuel Eboue, is now a Chelsea player.

After being acquired by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital in 2022, the Blues have made a concerted effort to acquire young players for both the first team and the academy.

Eboue made his debut in September and has been a member of Watford's development program.

He has three caps and one goal for the England under-16 team although his father is from Ivory Coast.

The statement by Romano said, "Chelsea have completed deal to sign England U16 talent Mathis Eboué (15) from Watford.
