Mikel Obi rates Drogba ahead of Kanu
Obi was on TalkSports and talked about a variety of issues.
The veteran defensive midfielder in his playing days started off by explaining his decision to snub Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United for Chelsea.
In a separate conversation, Mikel answered the question about the most iconic footballer he played with.
He answered the ranking between Didier Drogba, Jay Jay Okocha, and Nwankwo Kanu.
Mikel played with Kanu and OKocha with the Super Eagles of Nigeria before their retirement from the national team.
Mikel previously said he was scared of Drogba and picked his former Chelsea teammates over the Super Eagles greats.
He said, "That's a tough one"
"You know like you said, I played with Didier Drogba, Jay Jay Okocha and Kanu as well is someone I played with just about when I came into the National team.
"They were about leaving the National team or retiring from football.
"I got to play a few games with them a few months with them got to know them with as you know as guys and human beings.
"For me, that's a tough one, Jay Jay Okocha Iconic football players.
"I'll probably rank them Didier Drogba, Jay Jay Okocha and Kanu."
Mikel, who talked about the power John Terry had at Chelsea is expected to do other media rounds in the coming weeks.
