Simon took to social media to show off his meeting with the French Ambassador to Nigeria.

In the photo, Simon wearing a suit was all smiles with the Ambassador.
Simon who plays for Ligue 1 side Nantes, presented his jersey to the Ambassador.

Simon is expected to collaborate with France ahead as they host the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

After being part of the Super Eagles team that finished second at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d'Ivoire.
He however has not been invited by new head coach Finidi George for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa and Squirrels of Benin Republic.
