The Mediterranean Knights of Libya will be satisfied if they get a draw against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in an AFCON 2025 qualifier.

In order to be ready for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Libya, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will set up camp in Uyo.

The first leg is scheduled for October 11 in Uyo's Akwa Ibom Stadium, and the second leg is scheduled for October 15 in Benina.

Prior to the qualifying round, Milutin Sredojevic of Serbia was fired by the Libya Football Federation, and Nasser Al-Hadiri was named head coach of the national team.

The new adjustment came about as a result of the Mediterranean Knights' dismal start to their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign—the North Africans are currently ranked last in Group D.
