Former Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Jay Okocha participated in a Star-Studded Charity Match.
According to sources, the charity football game took place in Accra, Ghana on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
The game involved Okocha and several top African legends such as Togolese footballer Emmanuel Adebayor.
Born to Nigerian parents of Yoruba ethnicity, Adebayor opted to switch his international allegiances to Togo.
Adebayor confirmed his involvement in the Charity game with a photo on his official Instagram account.
Along with the photo was a message that said, "EA, I’ve spent such an amazing week in Sénégal, what a beautiful country."

In the photo uploaded by Adebayor, the African legends present at the Charity game include Okocha and Senegalese superstar Khalilou Fadiga.
Okocha now retired was a pundit during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Known for his football skills, Okcoha is also invited to showcase in several top-level charity games worldwide.
In 2022 at the request of Liberian President George Oppong Weah Okcihab was invited to a charity match.
He joined Adebayor, Ghana's Asamoah Gyan, former Senegal striker El Hadji Diouf, and Zambia's Kalusha Bwalya in Liberia for the event.
Okocha also took to the pitch for the EXPO2020 Dubai games earlier in 2022.
The 49-year-old star was in action as the World Classic team defeated the Abraham Accords 13-3 in a charity event.
Okocha is regarded as one of the greatest football exports from the African continent and continues to be an ambassador for the game.
