Formula 1 has unveiled the official playlist for the Austrian GP this weekend with Nigerian music star Rema as the main headliner alongside a host of Afrobeat stars.
Afrobeat continues to break boundaries across the globe.
Last month, Burna Boy became the first Nigerian musician to perform in the finals of the UEFA Champions League in Istanbul, Turkey.
Now, another Nigerian superstar has been confirmed ahead of this weekend’s Grand Prix in Formula 1.
F1 announced on Friday night that Mavin superstar Rema will take over the tracks this weekend at the Austria Grand Prix.
The Calm Down crooner who has been breaking all sorts of records with his global smash hit will headline this weekend’s official Spotify playlist at the at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg.

Pulse Sports gathered that Rema handpicked the songs on the playlist having been selected to headline this weekend in the Red Bull circuit.
The Afrobeat-themed playlist features songs from a number of A-list Afrobeat megastars including Rema, Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Asake, Ayra Starr, Bnxn, Kizz Daniel and a host of others.
