Sex tape scandal: What really happened?
The allegations stem from a woman who claimed the footballer secretly recorded their intimate encounter after she had explicitly refused.
She alleged that the player ignored her objections to creating a sex tape and turned her away immediately after the incident, leaving her feeling “violated and humiliated.”
The woman also told friends she had refused his requests to take part in a threesome.
Speaking on the matter, police confirmed: “A man in his 20s was arrested at an address on suspicion of voyeurism. It was determined no further action would be taken due to insufficient evidence.”
Following the questioning, the footballer was released with no further action and returned to training the following day.
He is expected to feature in his club’s FA Cup third-round match this weekend.
