FUFA President Moses Magogo showcased his dancing skills as he vibed to Jose Chameleon's legendary hit song 'basiima ogenze' in Moroto on Friday.

Magogo, along with other FUFA officials, were in celebratory mood at the eve of the 99th FUFA Ordinary General Assembly taking place on Saturday at the Hotel Africana, Moroto.

The choice of the song was fitting of the occasion as a section of Ugandans have failed to fully buy into his deeds since taking over at the helm of football in Uganda ten years back.

The title and lyrics of the song call for people always to appreciate other people's good works and celebrate them rather than recalling praises as soon as one passes on.

In his ten-year tenure as FUFA President, Uganda hit the AFCON after a 38-year wait in 2017 before repeating the feat in 2019.

The country has, however, missed out on the editions that came after since then, with the most recent being a failed attempt to get to the 2024 Ivory Coast AFCON.

Under Magogo, women's football has witnessed considerable growth, with running leagues and various levels at the national team.

The Crested Cranes (senior women's team) also featured at the 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations despite failing to hit the knockout stages.
