Super Eagles of Nigeria celebrate AFCON 2013 winning coach Stephen Keshi 8 years after death.
On the eighth anniversary of the passing of their former coach, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi, the Super Eagles of Nigeria have honored him.

Keshi, who died on June 8, 2016, at the age of 54, from a heart attack, is still regarded as a great figure in Nigerian football history.
A few months before his own untimely demise, in December 2015, the spouse departed from this life.
In 2013, he guided the Super Eagles to their third African Cup of Nations (AFCON) championship in South Africa.
He is celebrated for his unique achievement of winning the AFCON both as a player and a coach.
Super Eagles celebrate Stephen Keshi
The Super Eagles posted a series of pictures to celebrate his passing.
Along with the photos was a message that said, "Today we remember our former captain and coach, The Big BOSS Stephen Okechukwu Keshi who passed on this day in 2016.
"May his soul continue to rest in peace. Always in our heart Coachie
"Forever in our hearts, Coachie. Keep resting on Eagle 🦅 Stephen Okechukwu Keshi (23 January 1962- 8 June 2016)
Nigerian football supporters and fans have also celebrated Keshi's legacy and shared poignant tributes on social media in his memory.
