Noah Lyles’ fiancé Junelle Bromfield is already making her feelings known to him on what she is not prepared to do once the two decide to tie the knot following their engagement.
Jamaican sprint queen Junelle Bromfield may be engaged to a millionaire superstar in Noah Lyles but she is determined to carve out her own career and make her own money.
Unlike other women in such situations who would prefer to be stay-at-home mums and let their husbands be the ones to bring the butter home, Bromfield has no intentions of turning into a housewife when she gets married to Lyles.
Bromfield made that clear to Lyles during a recent training session where she expressed her desire to work, given she is yet to establish her sprinting career like her illustrious fiancé.

“I don’t think staying home would fit me,” Bromfield told Lyles, who then asked: “And why is that?”
“And that is why I forgot to buy the toaster,” she replied, explaining how she forgot to purchase a home appliance for the new house they recently moved into.
“Yeah, but you can buy that, we’ve only been in the home for like three days,” he said.
Bromfield added: “No, but I am saying that I’ll be home and I’ll be like ‘yeah I am going to be a housewife or something.”
“No, you were very against saying that you are going to be a housewife,” Lyles reminded her, to which she insisted why she would never be a stay-at-home mum.
“Because I wouldn’t be a housewife. I’ve got to work,” she added.

'Dead silent'- When Noah Lyles met Junelle Bromfield for their awkward first date
Noah Lyles has recounted his hilariously awkward first date with fiancée Junelle Bromfield, proving love can bloom unexpectedly.
Having been accused of hanging onto Lyles’ fame, Bromfield appears determined to shake off that tag and become her own woman.
The Jamaican sprinter, who has silver medals in 4x400m relay from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and 2022 World Championships, has so far not managed to set the stage alight as an individual athlete and this is what she will be looking to achieve.
Bromfield could not make it to the semi-final of the 400m at the Paris 2024 Olympics but must be looking to right those wrongs at the 2025 World Championships.
