Oshoala does not seem to be fan of Chelsea's new home shirt.

Chelsea recently unveiled their new home kit for the 2024/25 season, featuring a distinctive design that has sparked mixed reactions.

The shirt features thin white lines and water-like effect swirling across the traditional blue background, complemented by an orange trim on the sleeves, around the club's badge, and on the Nike logo.

According to Chelsea, the kit was created using advanced 4D data-driven design and computational methods to achieve precision-tuned athletic performance.

Despite the technical innovation behind the design, the club has yet to secure a front-of-shirt sponsor.

Days after losing over 100,000 followers on Instagram, Bay FC striker and Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala did not hold back her opinion on Chelsea's new kit.

Pulse Sports earlier reported that Oshoala surpassed Ons Jabeur to become most followed African female athlete on Instagram.

However, over the last few weeks, the former Barcelona star has seen her followers drop by at least 100,000.

During a Q&A session on her official Snapchat account, Oshoala responded to a follower’s comment on her pink-colored hair, which the follower suggested looked better than Chelsea's new jersey.

Oshoala's response was a brutal dig at the new design: “Those ones no get level…. dem turn jersey to tie n dye.”

This comment comes shortly after Nigeria’s 1-0 loss to Canada in a friendly game ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Despite the recent defeat, the six-time African women’s player of the year remains focused on upcoming matches.

Oshoala will return to action for the Super Falcons next Thursday when they face Brazil in their opening group game at Stade Bordeaux.
