Usain Bolt’s love for the finer things in life was on full display when he rocked a timepiece valued at over Ksh4 million (JMD 5 million), stealing the spotlight at British GQ Man of the Year Awards.
Jamaican sprint legend Usain Bolt was among the standout stars at the 2024 British GQ Man of the Year Awards, having dazzled in his Bottega Veneta golden outfit.
Bolt rocked a golden suit that made him standout but had something else that stole the spotlight at the fashion event.
The eight-time Olympics champion was known for setting fast times on the track and his timepiece on the day was one to marvel at after rocking Hublot Big Bang Unico valued at over $32,000 (Ksh4 million, 5 million JMD)

Bolt rocked the custom-made Hublot Big Bang Unico LIMITED USAIN BOLT 54/100 which retails for $32,370, according to Chrono24.
Bolt has been ambassador for the Swiss luxury watchmaker since 2010, a year after breaking his two world records, having set the 100m mark of 9.85 and 200m time of 19.19 at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin.
Hablot have been levering on Bolt’s popularity to push the brand and seem to be getting value for their money even after the legendary sprinter retired in 2017.
After signing his deal, Hablot chose to mark Bolt’s sporting achievements with the release of two limited-edition Big Bang Unico Usain Bolt watches – both 45mm, one in black and one in his signature colour: gold.
As per Revolution, the black watch is in polished and satin-treated ceramic, the bezel featuring Hublot’s signature half-dozen H-shaped screws in yellow gold.
Bolt is known for his love for luxury brands and explained why he chose the Bottega outfit for the GQ event.
