Paris 2024 Paralympics’ para-table tennis qualification tournament will be held in Otara, Italy.
The Nigeria Table Tennis Federation (NTTF) has confirmed that the federation has secured sponsorship and visas for athletes at the Paris 2024 Paralympics’ para-table tennis qualification tournament.
Paris 2024 Paralympics’ para-table tennis qualification tournament will be held in Otara, Italy.
The tournament is scheduled to be held between March 18 to 26.
NTTF President, Ishaku Tikon said that the qualification is one of the federation's tasks for the first quarter of 2023, is the first task before the NTTF.
He added that the federation would soon unveil its template and blueprint.
Ikpeoyi targets Paris 2024 as she leads new Para table tennis generation
Ifechukwude Christiana Ikpeoyi of Nigeria wants to play in Paris in 2024.
Ikpeoyi started her journey in para table tennis six years ago.
He said, “Table tennis has given me honour in my family and in my society and it has given me and my family food.”
Handmade out of carpenter’s wood by her father, Mark Ikpeoyi, it marks the start of Ikpeoyi's journey from the small community of Idumu-Ogo in northern Delta State to the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
