Top European clubs are queuing up to sign Nigeria’s best player at the World table tennis Championships in Durban Taiwo Mati.
Mati currently plays in the second-division league in Portugal and clubs from Spain and Poland are looking forward to signing the Nigerian.
I am yet to make decisions - Mati
Nigeria’s rising star has revealed that he is yet to make decisions on the club he intends to join, adding that he will consult before making any decisions.

“Three clubs from Spain and Poland have approached me in Durban asking if I could join them for next season. But I am yet to decide where to go as I need to consult before making my decision.
“I am still with my Portuguese club after we failed to gain promotion to the first division last season. I am still pondering on the offers looking for the one that will help me improve my game.
“Also, some of Nigeria’s top players are also helping out to look for good clubs for me because my performance in South Africa has attracted a lot of interest.

The World table tennis Championship ended on Sunday, May 28 at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Durban, South Africa.

Taiwo Mati makes history at World Table Tennis Championship
In his debut at the World Table Tennis Championship, Mati defeated experienced Croat Lubomir Jancarik 4-2 in the first round.
To advance to the men's singles third round, Mati had to come from behind to defeat Asian standout Lam Siu Hang of Hong Kong in the second round, 4-3.
However, Mati promises to improve his performance at the WTT Contender Series tournament in Lagos, Nigeria.
