Djokovic was signing autographs for fans when a bottle that had fallen from one fan's backpack struck him.
Security hurried in and Djokovic was gradually led away after the Serbian collapsed to the ground in agony.
According to reports from the Sun, the 36-year-old went back on the court on Saturday despite the incident and was wearing a bike helmet over a white cap.
As he sent his supporters into a frenzy with his headwear, Djokovic was beaming and smiling at the fans.
He shared the video of his entrance to the Tennis court on X and added a hilarious caption, "Today I came prepared. #IBI24."
His antics on social media delighted fans just as much; one said, "How can you not love him?"
Another added, "He has such a fantastic sense of humour."
A third fan also said, "This is pure class. No way he did that."
