KCB Women’s Volleyball Team will represent the country in the women’s event from May 12-22.

Kenya Pipeline have arrived safely in Tunisia for their African Clubs Championship which starts on Friday, May 12.

Peter Gitau's side arrived at Enfidha–Hammamet International Airport on Wednesday night, having left Nairobi early morning.

Before they left for Tunisia, the Oilers were hosted by Kenya Pipeline Director Ken Wathome at the company headquarters in Nairobi, who challenged them to go for the title.

"We have got all the visibility, and its all because of your performance. But as you head to Tunisia on Wednesday morning, it's all clear that we need to win the elusive title.

"I challenge the team and the technical bench to adapt and innovate new skills to help us achieve what we are all yearning for. Let's study our opponents quickly and change the tide," said Wathome.

Kenya Pipeline coach Paul Gitau on his side, acknowledged his team is under pressure to win the title.

"I know the pressure is on, not only from the management, but the team at large and therefore we have to rise to the occasion," he said.

In preparations for the competition, Kenya Pipeline pitched camp in Mombasa following the unavailability of Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani Indoor Arena.

Kenya Pipeline and KCB are the Kenyan representatives in the women's competition ending on Monday, May 22.
