Team Nigeria continues to maintain her unbeaten run at the African U-21 Nations Volleyball Championship Zone 3.
Nigeria women team continued her dominance at the ongoing 2023 African U-21 Nations Volleyball Championship Zone 3 in Niamey, Niger Republic after beating Benin Republic 3-0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-9).
With the victory against their neighbors Nigeria have booked a place in the women's final. Nigeria will face Ghana in the women's final on Sunday by 5pm.
Maryam assures Nigerians Victory
The Most Valuable Player (MVP) against Benin Republic, Maryam Ibrahim assured Nigerians that the team will win the 2023 African U-21 Nations Volleyball Championship Zone 3.
She added that she never expected to be voted the Most Valuable Player (MVP) against Benin Republic by the organizers.
She said, "I feel very happy because I really didn't expect the MVP though but I am very happy to have won it and I am proud about it.

Nigeria set to battle for supremacy at U-21 Volleyball Championship
In front of her home crowd on Friday night, Nigeria defeated the Niger Republic 3-0 (25-4, 25-11, 25-4) to earn her second straight victory.
"I promise to do more in our next match tomorrow; the team will equally give their best and make Nigerians proud by bringing the trophy home.
"I already had it in my mind that we are going to beat them by 3-0 but I just want our girls to push harder. I know we will win our next game."
Ibrahim revealed that she believes in her teammates adding that the trophy belongs to Nigeria.
She said, "I believe in my teammates and don't think that Ghana will give us a good fight because we will play them harder than we did the last time.
